Shahram "Shawn" Yari, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon who sees patients in Frisco and McKinney. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the hand, wrist and elbow in both adults and children. His expertise includes hand and wrist fractures, sports injuries, arthritis, tendon injuries, nerve compression syndromes, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome and complex upper extremity trauma.
Dr. Yari provides comprehensive care for a wide range of hand, wrist and elbow conditions, utilizing both non-surgical and surgical treatment options to help patients relieve pain, restore function and return to their daily activities. His specialized training includes endoscopic carpal tunnel release, wrist arthroscopy, upper extremity joint replacement and reconstructive surgery. He also has expertise in the treatment of peripheral nerve compression disorders affecting both the upper and lower extremities.
