Dr. Ali is a board-certified psychiatrist with more than eight years of experience treating common psychiatric conditions, including ADHD, ADD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and substance abuse.
Patient recovery is her top priority, and she has a conservative approach to medication, only prescribing when needed after careful assessment of each situation.
Dr. Ali graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan, and finished her residency training in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Meharry Medical College, Nashville, TN, where she served as Chief Resident and later as an adjunct faculty member for two years.
Dr. Ali has practiced at various hospitals, including Middle TN Mental Health Institute, Department of Veterans Affairs, VA North Texas Health Care System and the Department of Veterans Affairs, Tennessee Valley Healthcare Systems.
