When dealing with a potential cancer issue it is always disconcerting. Having a professional that gives you confidence in what they are telling you and providing options to your care is foremost in smoothing out your emotional roller coaster.

My interaction with Dr Milan was great, I expressed my fear of general anesthesia but dont think anything can be done about that. My only other concern is, I was provided with the date of surgery, however not the time to report for surgery. This becomes an issue because I was advised I need somebody to drive me home after the procedure. Everyone isnt 60+ and retired, without date AND time its difficult to ask family or friends to take time out of their work schedule to assist, when they cant provide timeframe details to their employer. This is really inconvenient.

Dr. Milan took the time to thoroughly explain my condition, and subsequent follow up procedure. She tried to ease any fears about the upcoming surgery, and explained in simple terms what to expect.

She listened and cared about what I had to say and show her the location where the blood was coming from. She then did a good inspection of my right breast.
