Joshua Gunnels was born and raised in rural east Texas. He found his passion for medicine after experiencing the challenges of living in a medically underserved community. Joshua earned his ... undergraduate degree at Baylor Universoty, then went on to complete his master’s degree in physician assistant studies (MPAS) at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. At Baylor Scott & White Health, Joshua sees both adult and pediatric patients 5 years and older. He has a passion for taking a comprehensive approach to medical concerns and combining lifestyle changes with medication to improve patient health.
