We specialize in the treatment and rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries. The licensed physical therapists and licensed athletic trainers here have helped thousands of sports enthusiasts recover from their postoperative orthopedic extremity injuries and return to more active lives. Our orthopedic patients include recreational athletes, as well as high school, college and professional athletes.
We typically care for:
- ACL reconstruction
- Foot and ankle injuries
- Hip injuries
- Rotator cuff
- Strains and sprains
- Overhead throwing injuries
- Elbow injuries
Due to the specialized nature of our orthopedic services, we do not treat patients with spine injuries, joint replacements and hand or wrist injuries.
We use a combination of exercise, manual therapy and aerobic conditioning to improve patient outcomes. We also employ isokinetic testing and strengthening equipment to help our orthopedic patients recover.
More about sports therapy
Individual evaluation and treatment programs utilize exercise, manual skills and modality intervention to treat orthopedic conditions. The goal is to help patients resume normal activities as soon as possible by facilitating maximum function and independence.
Foot and ankle therapy
We offer mechanical assessment of the lower kinetic chain, including alignment, function, proprioception, strength, range of motion and flexibility; effects of foot function on the knee, hip and lumbopelvic structures; open and closed kinetic chain exercises, mobilization and appropriate physical therapy modalities.
Highly trained hand and upper extremity occupational and physical therapists provide comprehensive evaluations of the upper extremity, customize splints and orthotics, and provide functional training in adaptive living techniques, joint protection, energy conservation, work simplification and motor coordination.
