For specific conditions, cardiothoracic surgery may be beneficial, addressing concerns such as arrhythmia, heart failure or congenital heart disease. Our heart transplant team was the first to perform this procedure in North Texas. Since then, we have completed more than 1,200 heart transplants at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, part of Baylor Scott & White Health and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple.
