The interventional cardiology department at Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Fort Worth uses advanced technology to diagnose and treat heart and vascular conditions.

Featuring three catheterization labs and two electrophysiology labs (including a hybrid procedural suite), we continue to expand the service offerings for cardiac patients within the 26,000-square-foot diagnostic and treatment center at our Fort Worth heart hospital.

Every minute counts when caring for heart attack patients

For heart patients who experience an ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), every minute counts. Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Fort Worth has programs in place to provide urgent access to the cardiac catheterization labs. The heart center in Fort Worth has achieved and exceeded the national goal of an open artery within 90 minutes of arrival to the facility.

For the second year in a row, Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth earned Cycle V Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care. It is the highest designation for heart attack care, and it recognizes Baylor Scott & White – Fort Worth's best care practices that allow heart doctors to reduce time to treatment during critical early stages of a heart attack.

Innovation in interventional cardiology

In collaboration with Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital – Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth, innovation is at the forefront of available interventional cardiology treatment to heart patients, including side branching stenting, drug-eluting stents, PFO closure device and robotic heart catheterization system.
