Our commitment to heart-healthy communities
Each year, our teams share their passion and expertise in heart and vascular health, volunteering their time in support of events that promote awareness and wellness in our communities. From webinars and in-person classes covering heart-healthy lifestyles to screenings and educational materials, we provide the tools our neighbors need to stay on top of their heart health.
We also partner with numerous local organizations that share our commitment to the well-being of those we serve. Whether it’s health-focused nonprofits, community events or local schools, our combined efforts help amplify our outreach efforts, reaching more people with prevention, education and resources to live well.
Community programs across our hospitals
Each of our Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital locations serves a diverse population, with its own unique community health needs. We tailor our community programs to meet the most significant needs in each community, proactively investing our resources in the areas that will have the greatest impact on community well-being.
Many of our community programs include collaborations with national and local nonprofits, government and civic organizations, community clinics and schools. Together, we’ve built programs and services that provide vital education, support and prevention, as well as increase heart care for populations that might otherwise not have access to the care they need.
